how bout them transparent dangling carrots?
and so i have just discovered that there is no possible way i could see alanis' jagged little pill reunion tour...unless by some miracle i could go to like florida or california or something to see her, but what are the chances of that happening? too low to even contemplate aka i dont want to think about it anymore because it makes me sad. so, onto other things i suppose. ive spent a lot of time at subway. not lots compared to other people who actually work work, but you know. customers are annoying, but it is fun seeing ju lots and colleen is a lot of fun too and she tells me about people who get beat up....like sheep head...muahahaha >=D book club met twice this week. we are reading the war of the worlds by h g wells. we are all having difficulting staying interested in it. why? cause its boring. there is no character developement whatsoever. the only thing getting us through it is the fact that it is a classic, and we are going to see the movie soon. but hey only like 8 chapters left. *yessss* plans of a book burning were pondered about, but decided against considering it would be like sac religious for a book club to take part in such an act.
i watched kill bill 2 the other night. i found it exceptionally entertaining compared to the first one. nice job "QT" (hehe) i really like....shhh....what if someone hasnt seen it? i guess i will keep what i liked to myself.
i went to the mall today with brenster. i was there to conduct a secret mission for my bosses aka grams and mumsie. cant tell ya what the secret is though...just incase sandzibar reads this. its my sistas 16th birthday on saturday. i plan on crashing her party. would it really be crashing though? i mean...this is my house too. oh well. i like to think that i am crashing....probably cause i have never crashed one before. someone have a party so i can crash it. that was a lot of crashing in a span of 3 sentences. but anyways. bren was there to shop for some clothes. i cant tell you much about his shopping experience cause i havent the evidence to back it up. wow this post sure is full of secrets. the highlight of the trip might have been the confusing funny joke of werewolf man. there was a guy sitting behind us while we ate lunch that was EXTREMELY hairy. it was awkward to even look at him. he should do something about that....like move to antartica. he would do well there. he could be friends with the polar bears and penguins and what not. too bad he is missing out.
i had an urge to buy clothes today as well, which is very not ann like. i went into like 4 stores and was too cheap to buy anything (bren did let me stay in gadzooks after i found nothing to wear so i could watch the new alanis music video...that made me very happy and might have made him feel kinda uncomfortable because we were in an all girls clothing store watching a music video) so a few clothing stores later i finally found some cheap stuff, including a ball gown for 20 dollars. so what possessed me to buy this dress? i dont have anything to wear it for. its even green, a color i never wear. and so the questions answer: it was 20 dollars and fit me pretty perfectly. perhaps i will make a random occassion to wear it on. no perhaps...its a definite thing that will go on my to-do list.
hmm i think the time is showing in my writing. so before i quit this jibberish nonsense that probably has tons of typos and wrongly spelled words, i would just like to acknowledge my favorite thing that i did this week. it begins with a short story. 2 1/2 years ago when bren and i first started going out he gave me a cryptogram from the newspaper. i had never done one before and thought it was pretty cool...and i surprisingly had a special talent for figuring them out. so for a few weeks i did the crytpogram like every day (yay for Saub and economics newspapers)but anyways....to the present...which is really the past. sunday bren gave me the cryptogram from the paper, and then we ended up figuring it out together after everyone from book club left. it was lots of fun....except for the discovery that tom cruise can be a real jerk....i thought he was getting cooler in his old age...what a let down. "if i were to be two-faces, would i be wearing this one?" ~ Abraham Lincoln (that was the cryptogram)
and now i depart to dream those crazy dreams i have and hopefully not be woken up in 4 hours thanks to the lady i dislike a lot or telemarketers.
up with ed til 4:05a.m.ly yours,
Ann
